这座教堂, 由于它建造的特殊原因, 从未被用来举行婚礼, 葬礼或任何其他仪式, 完完全全是座纪念堂. 在列宁格勒保卫战其间,

世纪后期, 彼得大帝请了欧洲的舞蹈老师来俄国教舞, 这是俄罗斯芭蕾的起源. 后来,
女沙皇CATHERINE在圣彼得堡修建了第一座剧院(MARIINSKIY THEATER), 从此, 芭蕾舞艺术在俄罗斯大地生根, 繁荣,

一次看芭蕾, 是在黑白苏联电影里, 这次有机会游览俄罗斯芭蕾舞的大本营圣彼得堡, 自然想到剧场看场芭蕾, 所以上船前就定妥了票. 
原以为我们有机会在MARIISKIY THEATRE看演出, 到了跟前, 才发现我们看演出的地点, 是在对街的RIMSKY-KORSAKOV

于看一遍所有藏品需要多少年, 学者有许多争论, 但无论如何, 都需要N年, 而我们只有3个小时.  这里就充分体现了跟导游的优势.
这样的博物馆,  内部同迷宫也不差多少; 名气又这么大, 参观的人流堪比闹市.   要想自己看,  找不到想看的展品不说, 还一定会迷路.
