A.      Excuse me.

对不起。

B  Yes? What can I do for you?

   啊，什么事我能帮忙吗？

A  Well, I need a map of Beijing. Can you tell me where I can get one?

   哦，我需要一张北京地图。您能告诉我在哪儿能买到吗？

B  Sure. See that tall building at the end of the street?

   当然可以。看见街那头的高楼了吗？

A  Yes. That grey building?

   看见了，那幢灰楼吗？

B  Right. That’s a bookstore. I’m sure you can find one there.

   对。那是个书店。你一定能在那儿买到一张。

A.        Thank you very much.

非常感谢。

B  You’re welcome.

没什么。

                          指路 （二）

A  Excuse me, Sir. Do you speak English?

   对不起，先生，您说英语吗？

B  I beg your pardon?

   您说什么？

A  Oh, so you do speak English.

   啊，这么说您是会说英语的。

B  Well, very little, actually.

   哦，其实只会一点点。

A  Can you tell me where the post office is?

   麻烦您告诉我邮局在哪儿？

B  Sure. Go straight ahead. Turn right at the next street. You’ll see a tall, white building. The post office is on the first floor.

   当然可以，一直往前走， 到下一条马路往右拐，就可以看见一幢白色高楼，邮局就在它的第一层。

A  Thank you very much.

   非常感谢。

B  You’re welcome. Goodbye!

   没什么，再见。

B  Bye.
